COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund ensures vulnerable children and their families have access to basic needs like food hampers, grocery gift cards and food delivery for those who have to self-isolate during the pandemic. The fund also supports the creation of a temporary emergency food helpline to help families find food bank supports in their neighbourhood. The donation in Windsor and Essex County is part of FCA’s efforts to work in partnership with non-profit organizations and foundations that are providing food to children until schools return to session. In Canada, FCA has donated over $155,000 towards non-profit organizations that will provide a total of over 162,700 meals for children in Windsor-Essex, Brampton and Etobicoke.
